We love this necklace!  It is just so sweet and delicate.  Rounds of the gemstone aventurine are coupled with chunky faceted baby pink glass crystals and entwined and knotted onto baby pink nylon silk thread and secured with a sliding knot clasp for comfortable wear.  The aventurine gemstone is a beautiful green with luscious inclusions called mica which give that sparkly silvery green colour and sheen texture.  Green and pink are complementary as they sit opposite the colour wheel, so a great colour combination. Aventurine means in latin 'by chance', which is a nod to the discovery of aventurine glass or goldstone during some time in the 18th century.  Matching bracelet available in this store.
